PROFILE:MILISWA NDZIBA
My practice approaches architecture as the manifestation of fantasy through space‑making — treating the built environment not as a static artefact, but as a living archive that can be performed, dismantled, and re‑imagined through ritual, storytelling, and play. I stage events of historical fiction as a method of unpreservation, using scenography and new media to re‑imagine how we inhabit time and space.

The work was incubated at the University of Johannesburg (Graduate School of Architecture) and the VIAD Bio Art Creative Microbiology Co‑Lab. It is platformed on On their dreams, a digital archive of my research, collaborative projects, library, and in-house publication. From time to time, I invite a house guest to dwell in the archive and produce a research project and publication.
